It’s independence day today. And today till now Chennai is safe and breathing safe without any Bomb blasts. Since there was a hoax on Bomb blast on August 15th in Chennai, people were afraid and government has made some strict arrangements for several checkups in the main places of city.

For the past 15 to 20 days , the Chennai patrols were screwed up and regular checkups of vehicle’s and persons were made in most places of the city. That too in night times after ten there were more patrols roaming and we can able to see a policeman for every 100 to 200 meters. For good sake , nothing happened till now. And hope for the best and for rest of the days.

Is this a good sign of Independent India ?? Are we safe after this 61 years of Independence ?? Are we staying in one of the most peaceful country in the world ?? … I can say NO. Do we have answers and proper explanations for the above given questions ??

Lots of unclear and unanswered questions going around me . Nuclear Deal with US , Indo-US agriculture knowledge initiative with US, non religious/caste/community based political parties and leaders, imbalance in growth among the industries, indications of civil war, quality less education in public schools, lack of investments in RND , fastly dying Agriculture, increasing basic medications cost, loosing the culture, reservation systems in educational institutions and private sectors, non eligible politicians etc., etc., more things goes around my mind.

Apart from this , equally these positive things also goes around me. Responsible and social centric youths, awareness on child labor, freedom for women , awareness on importance of education, accessibility of technologies in all corners, growth on IT, social responsibility of software engineers and college students, growing number of NGO’s, Corporate ’s Social Responsibility (CSR), proving young minds and few educated professionals in politics, the strength of youths etc., etc.,

Anyways , as a self and social responsible human being , I will always whole heatedly work for the development of society , better humanity and a clean world.  I (we) never wanted a Independence day like this year , wish some betterment in the coming years. Sorry to say this ….today is juts an another day for me.

Congrats BINDRA Abhinav for winning the men’s 10- meter air rifle event at the Beijing Games today. A gold medal after 28 years and  an individual Olympic gold medal after 108 years.

Lets hope for some other medals …! All the best .

Today Aug, 08 is the most awaited day for sportsmen and sport lovers. From today the Olympic 2008 starts. In next few days the countries will start counting the medals. Hats off to China for creating a new city (reconstructing) Beijing for Olympics. I really wonder at their hard work, interest and efforts on this. All the photos and news I have seen and read were really amazing. “The winning of the 2008 Olympic bid was an example of the international recognition of China’s social stability, economic progress and the healthy life of the Chinese people.” And china’s effort , we can name Olympic 2008 it as  Chinalympic - 2008.

The next thought come into my (any Indian) mind would be , how many medals for India ? Will India Shine ? . Our medals history in Olympics were very poor. Wish this year Olympics should be a platform for Indian sportsmen to display their talents.

This is August, My most favorite month of every year. August is a month of happiness and celebrations for me. I born in August month and lots of my friends birthdays comes in August.

From my childhood I had a good impression and special attention on August month, it was because I my school days some one said that August is a month of King makers. Peoples with ruling capability mostly born in August. I don’t know who said that to me , from that day onwards August was special to me.

But nowadays i know that August has nothing special except my birthday and my friends birthdays . August also has Friendship day, Rakshabandan. Now I realise that August is a month of Expenses (gifts, cards etc.,) . Anyways still I have the same impression on August - The King Maker Month .

This was the meeting I was speaking in the post(click to see the old post) few days back . Few chennai based NGO members met Dr. kalam for a normal discussion on the current activities.

The person standing in the right side corner is Kalam Nagappan, founder of YHM , the gal sitting in the center is Uma , founder of SIRAGU Montessori school and Suyam Trust, person sitting in the right side corner is Mr.Srinivasan of India Vision 2020. Hope this meeting would have brought a tremendous change in every one there. Good luck and keep goin.

And good news is Dr.Kalam wanted to add more NGO’s with India Vision 2020 and seems that he asked Mr.Srinivasan of India Vision 2020 to add more NGO’s for working together. And hence Blossom has also got a invitation to join with them. And its our pleasure to join them.

Life is different without my Cinderellas on my side. Its long since I have been emotionally independent. For the past 8 years I was been surrounded by few peoples on my side on every moments and events of my life. I have and had lots of friends, few stated as friends , few stated as close friends, few stated as dear ones and very few stated as Cinderellas. The last two types of friends taught me most things in my life. I learned to express , I learned to be emotional, they ignited the creativity in me, they cleared some mind blocks in me , they gave me confidence, they encouraged me, they trusted me to the core, the shown my positive and they shown my negative, they brought the best in me.

I had no problems when they were with me. They took care of everything and obviously I became dependent to them. I am unaware of that, I would be jeopardized when I loose them. Peoples come into our life for a reason/a season/a life time. Among these years they Left ( I lost) one by one. Because they came for a reason and they got their work done for me and they left. Some left without saying , some made me to take a stand, few left by saying the reason. A lot went unquestioned, a lot went unanswered , but the result was unique i.e. I am looser all the time. Everyone had a perfect reason to leave or move away ( even I had/have reasons to leave few ) but the end result was I am the Looser …!

Among the most dear ones and Cinderellas, all the Cinderellas were girls. When dear ones left I easily took it and understood but when Cinderellas left , I was jeopardized. One thing is true , Life without girls is like a baby without smile. I never come to say that Girls are Life, but they make us to feel the life. Anyway a baby without smile is also a baby , but still smiling baby shows us the happiness. Simple starting and ending points are same in the life’s journey. Thanks for giving me the Lessons for Life time. Thanks for all my dear ones and Cinderellas.

Its really different to be independent and now I started enjoying my independency. But it took a long time to come to this state. Since I am a kind of person who loves and enjoys to be in the both sides of every thing, simply I started enjoying my loneliness and independency. Sugar is good when it has more sweet in it, but for sugar patients sugar with less sweet (no sugar) is good for health. I consider me as a patient and I understood that sugar with less sweet is good for my health. Hope I have tasted more amount of sugar.

According to me “Learning and Leading is Life“. I am really tired being in the looser end. I am nowhere here to blame others, and thanks for being my teachers and preachers of life. I learned good enough on my emotional side and hope I can lead the rest with the lessons learned. Still a long way to go ….bon voyage !

ps:- For my friends this post would have given a different perception on me and my character. But still lots of different perceptions are there to come …!

Yesterday every minute was a Melody of Joy for me and hundreds of children gathered at the event held in Loyola college.  It was the charity event named “Melody Of Joy” organized by YHM (Social Welfare Org.) and ‘V-trust’ . And few more groups like Outreachers, Innovators,Loyola college also joined hands with them to conduct this event. Cultural events from various college students Chennai and from the children’s of different homes ( homes for destitute , home for special children and some special institutions) were displayed on the stage. Really it was a great joy being there. Each and every minute was filled with joy , happiness , wishes , encouragements and emotions.

YHM (young Helping Minds) was one of the main organizer this event. They have selected 9 different organizations and conducted some offstage events like drawing competiton , essay writing and Oratorical and selected three from each event and from each organization. And events like dance, singing , mime show , skid ,etc., were conducted onstage. For all these events the prizes were distributed in the stage. The event was well organized. I just wondered at the volunteers for YHM and V-Trust. Volunteers are the main reason for making this a grand success. Because running a event with the college students as audience was the not the easiest job. They did it and the event completed without any hiccups.

My special wishes to “Kalam Nagappan” (founder of YHM) for his great commitment and interest in building a better society. Nagappan is a young chap, doing his third year engineering . I have never seen a guy with this much fire. He is a man of activeness and man of promises. He got admired by Dr.Kalam and prefixed his name with  Kalams name . The strength of YHM is the college students. Most of the members are students and so they have lots of volunteers. But it is as much easy and as much tought to get a volunteer job done from the young blood. Blossom always setback with lack of volunteers , bcos having software engg. as the members , its really hard to get volunteers. Hats off to YHM and its volunteers.

Special thanks to Loyola college for giving the excellent auditorium, V-trust, Outreachers, Innovators and for every one involved in organizing this event. Lashings of thanks and prayers to the kids and children of different organizations like Siragu, Saraswathy school, Nalmanam, Home of hope,Mithra etc., for participating in the events and make every one happy.

I wish perpetual success and happiness for the YHM, V-trust and other organizations. Let this melody of joy reach each and every one in this world.

Yesterday (24th July ) few NGO’s had a meeting with Dr. Abdul Kalam. The meeting was about a interactive session and all the NGO’s planned to discuss about their current and future activites and to discuss about his ideas on that. Few of my known contacts from a NGO also attented the Meeting. Can any one guess the appointment time given my Dr.Kalam ???

It’s 11.00 pm and my friend messaged me after the meeting was over. The time was around 2.00 am. I just really wonder at his commitment. They also say that , his regular schedule is upto 1.00 am every day. What may be the thing makes him to work for several hours at this age?  This shows that he still dreams and he is also working on that.Hope by today evening I will be getting some info about the meeting and the things held over there.

Some of the NGO’s attended the meeting are , Young Helping Minds (YHM), SIRAGU Montessori School (Suyam Trust), India Vision 2020, India Sudar, another from Cognizant(CTS) company  etc.,  Here the most of the NGO’s are working towards Dr.Kalams vision (2020).

Though I am not the one , to completely praise Dr.Kalam for all his activites. I too have some controversial perceptions on few of his activiteis. But most times I wonder at his commitment and Interest in improving India. Hats off to Dr. Kalam.
